X-Skills Participants
X-Skills B.V. Version: October 2025
These general terms and conditions apply to all private participants in training sessions, sessions, series, clinics and events organised by X-Skills B.V.
Article 1 – Definitions
- X-Skills: X-Skills B.V., established in the Netherlands, organiser of sports training sessions and events.
- Participant: the natural person (usually a child) taking part in an X-Skills activity.
- Parent/guardian: the legal representative of a participant under the age of 16 who completes the registration.
- Activity: any training session, session, series, clinic or event organised by X-Skills.
- Partner location: a sports club, school or venue where an Activity takes place.
Article 2 – Applicability
- These terms apply to every participation in an Activity.
- By registering, the parent/guardian (or a participant aged 16 or over) agrees to these terms.
- Deviations are valid only if agreed in writing.
Article 3 – Registration and participation
- Registration takes place via the registration form provided by X-Skills.
- Participation is final upon receipt of payment and confirmation by email.
- X-Skills reserves the right to refuse participation or to move participants in the event of over-subscription or for organisational reasons.
- Participants must follow the instructions of coaches and supervisors at all times.
- X-Skills may terminate participation in the event of unsporting, unsafe or disruptive behaviour, without any right to a refund.
Article 4 – Health and responsibility
- Participation in Activities is voluntary and at one's own risk.
- The parent/guardian declares that the participant:
- is physically and mentally able to take part in sports activities;
- has no medical limitations that make participation unsafe, unless reported in advance.
- Any injuries, medical particulars or limitations must be reported before the Activity.
- X-Skills is not responsible for the consequences of health information provided incorrectly or incompletely.
Article 5 – Payment and rates
- Participation fees are clearly communicated in advance via the website or the registration page.
- Payment is made in advance via the payment methods offered.
- In the event of late payment, the right to participate lapses.
- Subsidised participation (such as the U-pas or free participation) must be indicated at registration.
Article 6 – Cancellation and refunds
- Cancellation by the participant is possible up to 7 days before the start of the first Activity.
- In the event of cancellation within 7 days before the start, no refund is given.
- In the event of illness or injury, X-Skills may, at its own discretion and on request, move participation to a subsequent Activity.
- If an Activity is cancelled by X-Skills, a replacement date will be offered or the amount paid will be refunded.
Article 7 – Use of materials, app and SkillTag
- During Activities, X-Skills hardware such as Beams and SkillTags may be used.
- The SkillTag remains the property of the participant and may be used at future X-Skills activities.
- Materials and the App must be used solely in accordance with the instructions.
- X-Skills is not liable for damage caused by improper use.
Article 8 – Photo and video material
- During Activities, photographs and videos may be taken for the purposes of:
- documentation;
- training and education;
- promotional purposes of X-Skills.
- Image material is published only if consent for this was given at registration.
- Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting X-Skills.
Article 9 – Privacy and data
- Personal data is processed in accordance with the X-Skills Privacy Statement.
- Performance data is initially collected anonymously.
- Data is linked to a name only if an account is created and a SkillTag is linked.
- For participants under the age of 16, the parent/guardian is responsible for consent.
Article 10 – Liability
- X-Skills takes reasonable measures to ensure that Activities proceed safely.
- X-Skills is not liable for:
- loss, theft or damage of personal property;
- damage arising from a failure to follow instructions.
- The liability of X-Skills is limited to direct damage and to a maximum of € 25,000 per event.
- Liability for indirect or consequential damage is excluded, except in the case of intent or gross negligence.
Article 11 – Partner locations
- Activities may take place at Partner locations.
- X-Skills is responsible for the organisation and the content of the Activity.
- Partner locations are not liable for the performance of Activities by X-Skills, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Article 12 – Force majeure
- In the event of force majeure (such as extreme weather conditions, illness, technical malfunctions or government measures), X-Skills may move, adapt or cancel Activities.
- In such cases there is no right to compensation.
Article 13 – Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by Dutch law.
- Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Noord-Holland (Haarlem).

Clubs & Organizations

These terms apply to all quotations, agreements and deliveries between X-Skills B.V. and business customers.
Article 1 – Definitions
- X-Skills: X-Skills B.V.
- Customer: a club, foundation, school or other organisation that purchases services or products.
- Agreement: any agreement between X-Skills and the Customer.
- Products: hardware such as Beams, SkillTags and accessories.
- Services: software licences, training, support and consultancy.
Article 2 – Applicability
- These terms apply to all offers and agreements.
- The Customer's own terms are expressly excluded.
- In the event of a conflict, the following order of precedence applies:
- Licence agreement
- Annexes
- These general terms and conditions
Article 3 – Formation of the agreement
- Quotations are without obligation.
- An agreement is formed upon written confirmation or the start of performance.
Article 4 – Prices and payment
- All prices are exclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise.
- Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date.
- In the event of late payment, X-Skills may suspend access to the software.
Article 5 – Delivery and ownership
- Delivery times are indicative.
- Risk passes on delivery.
- Ownership of the Products remains with X-Skills until payment has been made in full.
